The learning environment “Matmon Hadash” was developed in the Department of Science Education in the Weizmann Institute of Science, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The environment comprises printed material for pupils, teacher guides and E-Learning component that give a comprehensive response to learning, variety and deepening in chemistry, physics, biology and technology, in adequacy to the updated curriculum (2012) of science and technology for junior high school.
“Matmon Hadash” learning materials express the cumulative experience of the Department of Science Education in the Weizmann Institute of Science in development, research and pedagogy, and the long years of involvement in professional development of science and technology junior high school teachers.
