Summary

ENGAGE is an EU-funded project. It aims to achieve widespread integration of RRI-based teaching across Europe, to better equip students for active participation in a 21st century world shaped by science and technology. It will change students’ perceptions of school science from being a body of uncontested, value-free knowledge, towards a more critical, reflective stance. This will be achieved through a research-based program for teacher growth in science teachers’ values, knowledge and transformation in their classroom practice.
