Summary
Lenses on the Improvement of Teaching is a unique professional development (PD) program, designed especially for teachers of the ‘Hotam’ project (Teach First Israel). In this program, the participating teachers’ lessons are videotaped and the filmed material serves as a basis for guided peer discussions, using the framework developed in the VIDEO-LM Project. The pedagogical content of the PD is based on learning materials in the 3 Units matriculation level, designed in the previous projects ‘SHAY’ (conducted in the Department of Science Teaching) and SHLAV (conducted in the Davidson institute of Science Education).
