Summary
MATMON HADASH is a comprehensive project for the development of the Israeli junior high Science and Technology curriculum, which includes several elements: a virtual learning environment, printed and digital learning materials, a teachers’ guide and an associated website. These materials were developed with the aim of emphasizing key ideas and principles in science and technology, introducing students and teachers to recent innovations and breakthroughs in the field, and encouraging explicit learning of inquiry and thinking skills.
