Looking Toward the Future

There are a few directions in which we would like to expand the Agam Project in the future:

  1. We would like to expand our implementation's activities in grades 1-3 in the elementary schools in Israel. Our experience and research show that tackling mathematical and scientific concepts like "Ratio & Proportion" or "one, two, three and four dimensions" make them smooth and natural to be learned (Hershkowitz, R., & Markovits, Z. (1992); Markovits, Z., & Hershkowitz, R. (1997).
  2. In the present round of the program implementation we had a very successful sub-projects in the Arabic and Druse system of Education. Expantion our activities in these systems sees realistic and rewarding
  3. In the current couple of years we acomulate some experience with students population with spetial needs. This experience and another one we had in the first round of running the project look very promising.
  4. We plan to implement the program in kindergardens and schools with special needs populations. This activity demands a careful interweaving of research efforts.
  5. We hope that the above directions will contribute to an aware and wise use of the Agam Program for Cognitive Visual Thinking.
