תקציר: המאמר עוסק בתכנון של תכנית לימודים למורים למדעים המבוססת על היסטוריה ופילוסופיה של המדע, תוך שימוש במושגים מתחומי החשמל והאלקטרומגנטיות. ייעשה שימוש בתכנית לימוד זו לפיתוח חומר שיועלה לאינטרנט בהקשר של פרוייקט ה- STeT. במאמר מתוארת החשיבות של שילוב לימוד ההיסטוריה והפילוסופיה של המדע כאשר מלמדים מדע. החשיבות מתבטאת למשל בסיוע לתלמידים להבין את ההיבטים האנושיים של המדע ובהבנת התפקיד של המדע בחברה. המאמר גם סוקר דרכים שונות לשימוש בהיסטוריה של המדע והפילוסופיה בהוראת המדעים. כמו כן, הוא כולל הסבר וסקירת ספרות למושג "Nature of Science". לבסוף, המאמר כולל נספח לשיעור הראשון בתכנית.
