Genome. מכלול החומר התורשתי של יצור. ביצור חד-תאי<\/a> הגנום מצוי בתא הבונה את היצור, וביצור רב-תאי הגנום מצוי ברוב התאים הבונים את היצור. הגודל של הגנום נמדד בדרך כלל במספר זוגות הבסיסים הבונים אותו.<\/p>\n
