These questions and problems are aimed at reflecting the spirit of the new mathematics syllabus for Junior High Schools in Israel and to support teachers and teacher advisors in its implementation, by indicating (a) the relevant emphases, (b) the desired competences for the students to develop, (c) ideas for the integration of different mathematical topics in line with the syllabus&#8217;s principles, and (d) questions at different levels for both regular and advanced students.
