The purpose of the proposed research is to research, develop, and implement tools for personalized online teaching and learning, which provide a solution to the variety of high- school science students. The research will use the personalized teaching and learning (PeTeL) environment, which is currently in its advanced stages of development and implementation in the Department of Science Teaching at the Weizmann Institute of Science. We assume that the ability of the PeTeL environment to provide teachers with a cognitive-emotional-social picture of each learner in his\/her class in real time will support the approach of using teaching methods that address learners&#8217; different demands. Based on this information, the system presents the teachers\u2019 class situation, and offers them tailored activities for each student.
