The research, development and implementation activities are carried out by a multidisciplinary team including researchers, developers and expert pre-school teachers. The project is directed by Prof. Bat-Sheva Eylon, Head of the Science Teaching Department at the Weizmann Institute of Science and coordinated by Dr. Sherman Rosenfeld. Prof. Zvia Markovitz, from Oranim College, directs the research, implementation and professional development activities in the Northern part of Israel. The research and development activities for grades 1-3 are directed by Dr. Rina Hershkovits and by Ms. Lea Ilani who also coordinates the professional development of the pre-school teachers in the Central part of Israel and carries out the trials of new materials. The project is accompanied by the consultance of Ms. Anat Ben-Zvi a clinical and cognitive psychologist, who also guides the Druze pre-school teachers. A team of expert preschool teachers carry out the guidance in the preschools.<\/p>\n
